A wide green valley. To the north are mountains so high that they are shrouded in clouds and capped by snow all year round. A soft cool breeze, which smells of wild flowers, emanates from the mountains. Evergreen trees grow in abundance at the foot of those mountains.
To the east and west are forests so thick and dark that no human could pass through them. A continuous orchestra is played by the native song birds, occasionally punctuated by the growl of a wild animal.
To the south is the sea. So vast, deep and rough that no one dared to venture into it. The roar of its waves crashing against the high cliffs echoes through the valley adding a bass note to the orchestra of birds.
In the middle of the valley is a clearing which is divided into two by a narrow stream of water flowing from north to the south. Knee high grass grows around its banks. Its clear waters house an array of colourful fish. They occasionally jump out of the water as if to sneak a peek at the world above.
A large willow dances to the rhythm of the wind, whose low hanging branches touch the clear waters of the stream. Under the willow is a large rock whose top is cut parallel to the ground. Atop the rock sits I. Meditating, relaxing and absorbing every bit of pleasure that nature has to offer.
That was my lonely place. Whenever my life turned a dark corner and lacked the strength to proceed any further, I retreat to my lonely place. It has helped me through crisis, through sorrow, through danger. I invite you to my lonely place; an unspoiled environment which has neither been seen nor visited by anyone other than me.

thank you for your lonely place!..it sure is gonna help me!!..
